Farpoint is achievement 25 of 37 in We Were Here Tomorrow. You unlock it by this: “Discovered the Human Outpost.” 0.2 percent of players have Farpoint, which is rank 32 of 37 from common to rare, in the late expedition.
Farpoint happens at Human Outpost, and it does not ask for the Hook Gun, the Goop Gun, the prototype, or the access card. The icon is visible before you earn it, so you can read “Discovered the Human Outpost” before the popup. The Steam id is Farpoint.

Playing for Farpoint
Bring two players and working microphones for Farpoint. Once the facility splits you, the walkie-talkies carry what the other Explorer can see, and Farpoint completes only when the pair actually does this: Discovered the Human Outpost.
Achievements that sit beside Farpoint are Why So Molecular? and Through the Looking Glass. Use them as nearby tasks while you chase Farpoint, not as a percent you are required to match.
Farpoint is more common than rank 33. If you are stuck, read “Discovered the Human Outpost” exactly before you assume a later puzzle is required.
On a later session, say “Discovered the Human Outpost” when you expect Farpoint to pop. 0.2 percent of players already have Farpoint. That share is a familiarity clue, not a clock.
