Achievements that sit beside Referral Bonus are The World of Tomorrow and Smooth Moves. Use them as nearby tasks while you chase Referral Bonus, not as a percent you are required to match.
Referral Bonus is more common than rank 11. If you are stuck, read “Invite a friend to play We Were Here Tomorrow” exactly before you assume a later puzzle is required.
On a later session, say “Invite a friend to play We Were Here Tomorrow” when you expect Referral Bonus to pop. 46.3 percent of players already have Referral Bonus. That share is a familiarity clue, not a clock.
Brief your partner with the full line “Invite a friend to play We Were Here Tomorrow” for Referral Bonus, punctuation included. A shorter paraphrase drops the condition that separates Referral Bonus from the achievements beside it.
Referral Bonus is not pinned to a single room. It does not ask for a dedicated tool. If an overlay shortens the icon, the Steam id ReferralBonus still means Referral Bonus.
At rank 10 and 46.3 percent, Referral Bonus sits in the middle of a run. Use that share of players as a familiarity clue for Referral Bonus, not as a timer and not as a required order.
Referral Bonus is a different task from Onwards and Upwards. That other unlock is “Activated the Cargo Elevator” at 59.3 percent. Stay on “Invite a friend to play We Were Here Tomorrow” when you are chasing Referral Bonus.
Inviting a friend registers the join. It does not prove that both microphones can hear a colour and a number.
