Playing for Dawn of Tomorrow

Bring two players and working microphones for Dawn of Tomorrow. Once the facility splits you, the walkie-talkies carry what the other Explorer can see, and Dawn of Tomorrow completes only when the pair actually does this: Secured Rift Zero.

The achievement beside Dawn of Tomorrow is Tomorrow May Never Come. Treat it as a nearby task while you chase Dawn of Tomorrow, not as a percent you are required to match.

Dawn of Tomorrow is more common than rank 36. If you are stuck, read “Secured Rift Zero” exactly before you assume a later puzzle is required.

On a later session, say “Secured Rift Zero” when you expect Dawn of Tomorrow to pop. 0.1 percent of players already have Dawn of Tomorrow. That share is a familiarity clue, not a clock.

Brief your partner with the full line “Secured Rift Zero” for Dawn of Tomorrow, punctuation included. A shorter paraphrase drops the condition that separates Dawn of Tomorrow from the achievements beside it.

Dawn of Tomorrow is tied to Rift Zero. It does not ask for a dedicated tool. If an overlay shortens the icon, the Steam id DawnOfTomorrow still means Dawn of Tomorrow.

At rank 35 and 0.1 percent, Dawn of Tomorrow sits in the late expedition. Use that share of players as a familiarity clue for Dawn of Tomorrow, not as a timer and not as a required order.

Dawn of Tomorrow is a different task from Tomorrow May Never Come. That other unlock is “Closed Rift Zero” at 0.1 percent. Stay on “Secured Rift Zero” when you are chasing Dawn of Tomorrow.

Securing Rift Zero is one ending. Closing the rift is Tomorrow May Never Come, and securing it does not close it.

Hold is the verb on this plate. A secured Rift Zero stays contained, and the expedition can still talk about the phenomenon as open. Pairs who celebrate early often mean they shut it, which is the other ending. On the radio, “secured” means the hold. Do not tell your partner the rift is gone unless the close has actually happened.
